History

The Dodge City Cooperative Exchange purchased the old laundromat in 1942 that was located on the corner of the 3rd and Trail Street. The Dodge City Coop Farm Store sold farm supplies, furniture, appliances, plumbing and electrical supplies. It was affiliated with Century Hardware until 1984 when it changed to ACE Hardware. The current ACE Hardware store was built in 1975 and the new addition with a rear dock was added in the spring of 2007.
